Rick Lawler is a Pacific Northwest photographer and writer. Transplanted from Central California in 2005, Lawler and his spouse have made a home in Bellingham, Washington. Lawler has won awards for his photography and writing. He has published several best-selling books, including two photo books focused on the Pacific Northwest. Writing as Mark West, Lawler has written and published five novels and is working on a sixth. He is a member of the Authors Guild.
